This picture was taken the day we got home from the hospital. Thanks to my sister's awesome photo editing skills, you can't see the bags under my eyes but they were there, along with some popped blood vessels and all sorts of other stuff I won't go into on this blog. Needless to say we were very happy to be home...albeit nervous! It was nice to have nurses come help you at the press of a button!
Yes, Payton's eyes are closed. He slept the entire night when he was born, the entire next day, and cried a lot the following night. We could hardly wake him up for photos!
At this point, we think he had Ryan's nose, mouth, and eyebrows. Not sure what his eyes will turn out like but I sure hope he has something of me! Time will tell.....
