Today (Saturday) we had a great day. Because the sun was out, we walked to Grandma's house (which took 20 minutes to go about 1/10th of a mile) and romped through the millions of daisies in the field. Pea likes to pet Muffin (Gramma's dog) and is much gentler with her than Winston. Pea must know she is old and fragile!!
Payton has started to make 'vroom' noises when he plays with cars. He likes to drive them up and over things, like your back. We only have this one motorcycle so I went to the store and bought him a few cars to play with. He loves them!
We also went to the park and slid down slides and sat on the swings. Payton couldn't have cared less about the swings; he rather tolerated them. Oh well! What he DID love was watching the dogs at the dog park. While Winnie ran himself ragged (the usual), Payton and I stood by the big water bowls and watched dogs come and go, drinking water. Some of them gave us wet kisses, which Pea loved of course. We then headed to Costco for some frozen yogurt and a few things. Payton headed to bed early and we are doing the same!
I hope to catch a video tomorrow of Payton playing with his cars. So cute!
