It is a common occurrence in our for Payton and Winston to play keepaway. I came across this video of him awhile back (his hair was so dark!) playing with the top of a tortilla bag. Payton sure gets a kick out of egging Winston on, but Winnie just let's him have his fun, and then when he's mad, he just walks away (and bugs us instead). And Payton has gone from brown to platinum blonde now....just like his Auntie! :)
Payton is absolutely hilarious these days. He loooooves being outside and now talks to the trees and of course the chickens. He likes to stick his head in the dryer and yell things just to hear the echo. He is becoming more and more adventurous with what he eats (roasted broccoli!) and he still loves his brother to pieces. He likes to look at my earrings and he pushes my face to the side so he can get to the other one. And he'll come up to you and lean back on your leg and just sort of lounge there. He isn't saying a lot of actual words but I know he understands things like ball, doggy, 'turn the page', all done, up and down, and so on. He's so smart (like his mother :P)
